Mohave County, in conjunction with Trade West Construction, Inc., will be rehabilitating two structures on Old Hwy. 91:  Sand Hollow Bridge and a reinforced concrete box culvert.  Both structures are located in an area extending from just north of Scenic Blvd. to the Latter Day Saints Church.  The Project will involve closing the Highway for a period of time.

Trade West will begin work on June 8, 2015, and will close Hwy 91 northbound at Scenic Blvd. and southbound at the Church on June 14 for a period of 45 days.  Work on the box culvert will be completed within the 45 days. Work on the Bridge will require an additional 45 days; however, the road will open to one-lane traffic at that time.  All work will be completed by early September.

While the road is limited to one-lane traffic, motorists traveling through the Project area should expect delays of less than 10 minutes. Flagmen will be utilized to provide maintenance and protection of traffic through the work zone and maintain single-lane roadway operations over the Bridge.
