VVAA is pleased to announce that two popular art classes will be offered in May and June.
Classses will meet in the classroom adjacent to the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery at 15 West Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite Nevada.

David Boyarski, Photography Instructions

Photographer David Boyarski will teach two sessions of beginning digital photography. Mr. Boyarski is offering these free to the public, first come, first served. Advanced sign up sheet is available at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, with a waitlist kept for each session. Classes are offered on Thursdays, May 21, 28, and June 4, with Session 1 running 10-11:30 a.m. and Session 2 at 12:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Each session is limited to six students only.

Jean Battaglia’s paper tole class on April 22 grew beyond its anticipated size, so she is offering a series of lessons, April through June. The class met again April 29, and will continue on Wednesdays, May 6, 20, and 27, June 2, 17, 24. A signup sheet is available at the gallery, and more information about the classes can be obtained from Jean Battaglia at phone 801-631-6462. A fee is charged for materials; advance sign-up needed to arrange for materials.

In addition to these two short-term classes, VVAA offers ongoing classes in Drawing/dry media taught by Bunny Wiseman, Watercolor painting taught by Char Lang, Oil and acrylic painting taught by Gail Smith, and Pottery construction and glazing, taught by several instructors.
