An Eagle Court of Honor was held for 10 young men in Troop/Team/Crew 2314 sponsored by the Bunkerville 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This week, the MLN is proud to bring you special profiles on each of the young men who were honored. A special thanks goes out to Dena Hoff for her assistance in shining some positive light in the community.

Addison Biasi

Addison Biasi

Addison Bruno Biasi accomplished his Eagle Project when he did a beautification project at the Bunkerville Library.   He removed sod and installed a sign. Addison is a member of Venture Crew 234, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a senior at Virgin Valley High School where he is involved in theater and the swim team.  Addison is the son of Marnie & Mark McEwen and Bruno & Krista Biasi.

Andrew Jensen

Andrew Jensen

Andrew Reid Jensen identified the historic homes in Bunkerville for his Eagle Project. He placed historic markers at the sites – homes of Thomas Dudley Leavitt, Edward Bunker Sr. and Edward Bunker, Jr., and Fred Houston.  He is a member of Venture Crew 2341 that is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Reid is a sophomore at Virgin Valley High School where he is a member of the football, basketball and track teams. He is the son of Andrew and Janell Jensen.

Brenden Bunker

Brenden Bunker

Brenden Merrill Bunker restored the signs at the Bunkerville Library and Park for his Eagle Project. He is a member of Venture Crew 341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Brenden is a sophomore at Virgin Valley High School and a member of the band, swim team and forensics. He is the son of Bob and Jocelyn Bunker.

Garret Hafen

Garret Maxwell Hafen built a sidewalk at the Bunkerville Library to reduce the water damage to the building from the sprinklers for his Eagle Project.  He earned 25 merit badges and is a member of Venture Crew 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is a junior at Virgin Valley High School and plays on the football team.  Garret is the son of Derek and Kim Hafen.

Jaden Derrik Hollingshead’s Eagle Project was putting in a new drinking fountain and new volleyball poles at the Bunkerville Park.  He earned 25 merit badges and is a member of Venture Crew 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Jaden is a junior at Virgin Valley High School where he participates in football and baseball.  He is the son of Jared and Janarah Hollingshead.

Joshua Lyman Abbott put a windsock at the trail head at the sports complex for his Eagle Project. He is a freshman at Virgin Valley High School where he participates in baseball, wrestling and football.  Joshua is a member of Varsity Team 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Phillip and Melina Abbott are his parents.

Kade Roger Haviland’s Eagle Project was accomplished by replacing the rusted benches at the Bunkerville Park and putting in concrete pad and new tables.  He is a member of Varsity Team 341 that is sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kade has earned 27 merit badges. He is in 8th grade at Hughes Middle School where he’s the National Junior Honor Society President.  He is the son of Brian and Joy Haviland.

Logan Anderson Felix cleaned the dugout and built bat and helmet holders and made a system to return foul balls to the field at the Virgin Valley High School baseball field for his Eagle Project.  He is a member of Varsity Team 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Logan is a freshman at Virgin Valley High School and is on the baseball and football teams.  He is the son of Jon and Amy Felix.

Maurice Jayden Perkins Eagle Project was removing the arm rests in the auditorium at the Hughes Middle School to make it easier to access the seats for assemblies.  He is a freshman at Virgin Valley High School and a member of Varsity Team 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He is the son of Maurice and Christy Perkins.

Trevon Jared Hollingshead organized and directed the July 4th 5 K run in Bunkerville to accomplish his Eagle Project. He is a member of Varsity Team 2341, sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a freshman at Virgin Valley High School.  Jared and Janarah Hollingshead are his parents.
