In March we moved our clocks forward.  Local Mesquite real estate agents moved the market forward with sales closings on 55 residential properties making March the busiest month of the year for the Mesquite real estate market.

An additional 50 properties went into pending status for closure at a later date. Although this information does include some new home sales, it does not include all new home or private (for sale by owner) home sales.

Real estate professionals reported that 25 single family homes closed/sold during March 2015.  The lowest priced home, a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1581 SF home in the Rivers Bend neighborhood sold for $144,500; the highest priced homes,  a 4 bedroom/3 bath, 2200 SF home in the Stone Haven subdivision sold for $413,000.

During this same time, 11 condos and 14 townhomes sold.  A 335 SF studio home in the Smokey Lane Condo community sold for $38,000; a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 989 SF  home located in the Enchantment community sold for $124,000. The lowest priced townhome residence, a 1030 SF, 2 bedroom/2 bath home in the Mesa Townhomes subdivision sold for $105,000; the highest priced townhome residence, a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1612 SF home in the Sunset Green neighborhood sold for $196,700.

Four manufactured homes sold. The highest priced home was a 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1344 SF home in the Hacienda Estates community sold for $60,000; the lowest priced home, a 2 bedroom/2 bath, 1342 SF home in the Mountain View Estates community sold for $84,000.
