To the Editor
Last week our Hometown Boy, Matt Devore, of the Virgin Valley High School class of 2011, was elected as Student Body President for Dixie State University. Those of you who know Matt can join me in being proud of him and his accomplishments. Matt is an inspiration to me, and has shown me that if life gives you lemons you really can make lemonade. I’m not at liberty or would I presume to share Matt’s story with your readership, but if you ever want to do a feel good story about one of the most positive people I have been around and the difference a community can make in a young boys life give Matt a call, You can reach him at Dixie State University just ask for the Prez.! Good Job Matt, keep making us proud!

Matt, you rock and I am so proud of you. I would have never imagined such an awesome outcome. The difference between you and many others is that you took good peoples advice and lived up to the expectations the caring families had for you after so many of them helped you. Great job.
