Highlights were far and few between Tuesday night in Boulder City as the Eagles won easily over both of the Virgin Valley High School Bulldog ball teams.

The Lady Bulldogs had no answer for Eagle pitcher Charlene Masterson as the Boulder City ace threw a one hitter at the Dawgs in a five inning 10-0 win. Masterson also drove in three runs for the Eagles garnering three hits off the Bulldog pitchers. The Bulldogs trailed by only 2-0 after three innings but were blown out in the fourth and sixth innings as the Eagles out up 8 runs. The Bulldogs will host Desert Pines on Thursday March 26 and also Pahranaghat Valley in a non-league match on Friday March 27. The Bulldogs need a win going into spring break as their record now stands at 1-15.

The Bulldog baseball team did not fare any better against the Eagles as they fell 12-1 to the Boulder City men. Boulder City scored their runs on eight hits with a balanced attack. The Eagles led 7-0 after two innings and added five more in the mercy rule five inning game. The Bulldogs Koby Smothers went 1-2 and scored the Dawgs only run in the top of the fourth inning. Cody Jones continued his hot bat with a double for the Dawgs. The Bulldogs were held to three hits by the Eagles pitcher. The Dawgs face Desert Pines today and Pahranaghat Valley tomorrow, March 27. The Dawgs record now stands at 1-8.
