Sixty-Six golfers played in the 6th annual CHAZAHM Invitational Golf Tournament held at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course on Sunday March 1, 2015 in memory of Charlie Zahm. The tournament helps to support the Virgin Valley Little League. Charlie started the tournament through the Mesquite Elks Lodge and after his passing, his family wanted to continue the tradition and keep Charlie’s dream of helping the Little League alive. Geno Withelder, an Elks member, chaired the event that raised $980. The money will be donated to the Virgin Valley Little League to sponsor a team. Charlie’s wife, Linda, and son, Chuck, thanked the members of the Elks Lodge and the participants in the tournament for their support and pledged to continue with this great event in the years to come.
