Each year, Boy Scouts across the nation recognize Scout Week early in February. To honor this annual event, youth and adults in the Mesquite area will show their Scout Sprit by wearing their Scout Uniforms to school and work Monday, February 2. Mesquite’s new Girl Scout troop is also participating in this community-wide event.

All Scouts and Scouters (adult volunteers) have been asked to participate. Scouting is an incredible program for youth and families that builds citizenship, character, and community pride. Members of the community are encouraged to talk with the Scouts they meet and ask youth about their scouting experiences.

Scouting is open to youth of all ages and backgrounds. There are over 35 individual packs, troops, teams, and crews operating in the Mesquite area. Please call Dave West at 702-346-7209 if your son or daughter is interested in joining scouting or visit beascout.org.
