What a beautiful lady! Margaret was a Mesquite pioneer and I loved to hear her stories of her life! She’ll be missed by many.
Dearest Margaret,
I had the pleasure of meeting you @ Highland Manor ! Your sweet, gentle spirit, and smile went hand in hand, everywhere you went. You ended up strengthening my testimony on Sundays, with stories of being a Pioneer Latter-Day Saint. I asked you once: “What made you never give up in life, with all the challenges you had to endure” ? You told me, “I guess I really never gave it much thought. I have great faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that was enough. In my day and age, we did not question things. When I look at the other hardships that the Prophet Joseph Smith had to go through, and all the other people that proceeded him, my challenges were nothing in comparison”.
When I Jeffrey, came to help administer Sacrament, you always lined up in the front row ! I loved that zeal about your spirit……….We all laughed one Sunday, when I told the group during a talk, that I felt like I was being surrounded by a row of the “Rockettes”, in Chorus Line ! Everyone laughed. and you were the head Rockette, Margaret ! And still are……in Heaven………
God Bless You my dear, as you now meet loved ones that have passed before you, and I thank you, for having such a profound effect on my life. I will never forget you!
