Free admission is offered Saturday, Sept. 27 at The Lost City Museum in Overton thanks to a National Museum Day celebration via The Smithsonian.  The 10th annual “Museum Day Live!” is a nationwide event that lets visitors experience the nation’s great treasures, without charge, if they present a “Museum Day Live!” ticket at a participating museum or cultural institution. Visitors must download the ticket at Smithsonian.com/museumday.

Last year’s event drew over 500,000 museum goers nationwide, the sponsors said. The celebration fulfills Smithsonian Media’s mission to make cultural education accessible to everyone. More information and a list of participating museums and cultural institutions are available on the same website.
