As part of a weekly service project program implemented by VVHS coaching staff, the Bulldogs spent the evening cleaning police patrol vehicles.  During the service project the athletes were able to see the inside of police vehicles and interact with Mesquite Police Officers. MPD would like to thank the VVHS football players and coaches for the services rendered. MPD also wishes them the best of luck this 2014 season. GO BULLDOGS!!!

On August 28, 2014, Virgin Valley High School Junior Varsity and Varsity football teams consisting of around 45 kids showed up to the City of Mesquite Cemetery and Pioneer Park Complex to help show community support within the City.

The teams trimmed palm trees along Hillside Drive going up to the High School and also cleaned, picked up all of the leaves and debris from the cemetery, it took them about an hour to knock out 50+ palm trees, 100+ oleanders and debris from the Cemetery.

MLN-Briefs2sept11-14This is one of many programs that VVHS football coaching staff has implemented as part of the VVHS Football program this year.

“I have always believed that the kids need to support/give back to the community that supports them,” said Yori Ludvigson, Head Football Coach.  “This is a great character and team building activity. We would like to thank the Department of Athletics and Leisure Services for the opportunity to help out and give back to the community,” Ludvigson added.

If there is an organization out there looking for some help or need some service completed please contact Coach Ludvigson at the High School, 702-346-2780.

“We appreciate the support and the service the Bulldogs provided for us, they did a great job and worked hard”. Randy Laub, Parks Department Superintendent.
