Randall Helms Randall D Helms died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his home in Mesquite after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Green Bay, WI on January 22, 1952, the son of the late Bernard C. and Marilyn (Steffen) Helms Jr.

He graduated from West DePere High School in 1970 and attended the University of Arkansas and University of Wisconsin Green Bay.  He worked as a Research and Development engineer for Global Drying Systems, Inc., ASI and MEGTECH Systems, Inc.

In his early adult years he enjoyed stock car road racing and flying planes in Alaska.  As he grew older he moved to safer sports such as downhill skiing and golf.

He is survived by his wife Lori (Komula) Helms;  a sister, Cheryl Helms (Green Bay); a brother Bernard (Sandra) Helms (Sarasota, FL); 4 stepchildren, David (Kathy) Dachlet (Greenleaf, WI), Leah Dachlet (Green Bay, WI), Heather (Kevin) Graber (Menomonee Falls, WI), Travis Christens (Madison, WI); multiple brother-in-laws,  sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard C. and Marilyn (Steffen) Helms Jr. and his brother Douglas Helms.
