A-Shift performed fire drills at all 3 Mesquite Public Schools.

5/16/17

E-11, R-11, R-31:  Responded to a Condo on Hafen Lane for a report of a fire on the patio. Found that a small fire had occurred in a potted plant, but was now out.

E-11, R-11, R-12:  Responded to assist Clark County Fire with a structure fire in Bunkerville.  Units assisted with extinguishment of house heavily involved with fire.

E-11, R-31, R-11:  Responded to MVRH for an audible fire alarm. Per Maintenance, issue with a sprinkler head and they are repairing.

5/17/17

T-31, R-12:  Responded to the same house burned the previous night in Bunkerville for a report of a fire. Arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames. Defensive master stream operations were undertaken due to extreme danger posed by previous incident and volume of fire. Aerial operations were utilized via T-31 to knock down main body of fire. Both incidents are under investigation by Clark County Fire Investigators.

5/18/17

E-11, T-31, R-11:  Responded to an extended stay hotel on Mesa Blvd for a General Fire Alarm. Found a pull station activated with no evidence of an emergency and no witnesses to who pulled it.

E-11:  Responded to a residence on Peartree Ln. for an  odor of smoke in the home. Found no smoke or fire. Odor was isolated to a card shuffler that smelled of smoke when used. Resident advises they will no longer use it.

5/20/17

E-11, R-11:  Responded to the area of 50 E Old Mill for an Auto vs power box. Unit arrived with significant front end damage to van and power box knocked of its pad. Overton Power ensured area was safe and the vehicle was then secured. Driver refused medical treatment.

Non Transports include: Patient refusals, lift assists, patient deceased at scene, no patient found, no incident found, incidents handled by other agencies.
