Mesquite Fire and Rescue responded to a car fire at the Condo complex at 717 Hafen Lane.
Chief 2 arrived first and found a passenger car with the engine compartment heavily involved with fire which was less than 5 feet from a detached garage.
The crew from E-11 was able to quickly knock the fire down and keep it out of the garage.
No injuries were reported and the fire is believed to be accidental in nature.
