MESQUITE, NV – On Wednesday, October 1st, the Mesquite Police Department proudly hosted our annual Police and Fire Night — and what a night it was! From free food and games to exciting demonstrations, our community showed up in full force.
We had lights, sirens, laughter, and plenty of smiles (and yes, maybe a few future police officers and firefighters in the making) — but most importantly, we had the chance to show our kids that behind the uniforms is a whole team of dedicated professionals working together every day to keep them safe.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Mesquite PD, our Fire Department, and all the incredible first responders who keep our community safe. Local first responders in attendance included: Mesquite Police Department, Mesquite Fire & Rescue, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), Nevada Highway Patrol, Clark County Juvenile Probation Services, Nevada Juvenile Probation, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Mohave County Search and Rescue, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Mercy Air, Bunkerville – Clark County Fire Department, Beaver Dam Littlefield Fire Department, Mesquite Police Department Volunteers, Mesquite CERT team, and the
Nevada Department of Wildlife Game Wardens.
Also a big thank you to the Elks Lodge, Mesquite Entertainment, and Mesa View Regional Hospital for the food and water donations.
