In recent days, the stark contrast between the Republican candidates vying for Nevada’s 4th Congressional District has become increasingly clear. John Lee’s recent appearance on the left-wing talk show “Pushing the Limits” with Brian Shapiro has solidified his position as an inappropriate choice for the Republican nomination, especially for those of us who value integrity, respect for military service, and strong Second Amendment rights.
 
During the interview, John Lee agreed with Shapiro’s harsh criticisms of former President Donald Trump, betraying the sentiments of many conservative voters who respect Trump’s leadership and accomplishments. Furthermore, Lee’s comments were not only a betrayal to Trump but also an unsettling insight into his views on our veterans and fundamental rights. He disparaged not just the military service of his opponent, David Flippo, but also that of even his own father, reducing their sacrifices and commitments to mere obedience and triviality.
 
Moreover, Lee’s nod to Shapiro’s advocacy for red flag laws and his agreement that young law-abiding adults should be restricted from gun ownership undermine the constitutional rights that are pillars of the Republican platform. His willingness to compromise on these critical issues is a clear indicator that his values are not aligned with those of Nevada’s conservative base.

David Flippo

 
David Flippo, in stark contrast, embodies the principles that our community holds dear. A retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, Flippo is recognized as a national security expert. His service record speaks volumes, showcasing a lifetime of principled leadership and dedication to our nation both in uniform and as a staunch advocate for conservative values. Congressman Trent Kelly, a General in the Army National Guard, praised Flippo’s readiness to defend our liberties, stating:
 
“I fully endorse Lt. Col. David Flippo and look forward to serving with him in Congress. David’s unwavering conservative values, combined with his exemplary record of service and leadership, ensure that he will be a staunch defender of our liberties and a formidable opponent against those who threaten them. We need a warrior like David Flippo in Congress to safeguard our communities, uphold our conservative values, and secure a prosperous future for our nation.”
 
Flippo’s campaign slogan, “Stronger Leadership and Smaller Government,” shows a commitment to the values that will uphold our freedoms and foster economic prosperity for all Nevadans. His history as a financial expert and business owner further demonstrates his capability to understand and influence our economic landscape positively.
 
As Republicans, we cannot afford to back a candidate who aligns more with leftist ideologies than those of our own party. We need a representative who stands unequivocally for our values and will defend them in the halls of Congress. We need someone who respects the legacy and the future of the Republican Party.
 
It is time for Nevada’s 4th District to rally behind a true conservative, a man of integrity, and a proven leader. I urge all voters in our district to support David Flippo—a candidate who will put Nevada, and America, first. Let us stand together to uphold the principles that define us and ensure that our voices are represented faithfully in Washington.
