Mesquite Western Roundup to showcase western music and cowboy poetry

The 16^th annual Mesquite Western Roundup is taking place, highlighting western music and cowboy poetry.

On Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., poets and singers will be on hand at the Mesquite Community Theatre showcasing their talents about the western tales and trails. The featured music performer will be Belinda Gail and the pre-show music performer will be Mesquite’s own Robin Arnold.

Also culminating the performance show will be Sam Jackson, Russ Westwood, Farrell Bott, Steve Campbell, Jim Parsons, Kathy Smith and BT Bugland.

Admission to each event is $15 and can be purchased at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., online at MCTNV.com or one hour prior to the show at the Mesquite Community Theatre box office.
