March 24:
Found property: Officers responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. Casino regarding found property. The wallet was booked in evidence as found property.
Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. The female subject was
arrested for DUI-Alcohol (1st Offense).
Traffic stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violation. The adult female driver was arrested for an active bench warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court.
Controlled substance problem: Responded to an agency assist regarding a possible heart attack. Female was transported for drug overdose. Citation issued for paraphernalia.
Probation violation: Officer responded to local hospital for a female who violated her parole. Upon
request of Parole and Probation the female was taken into custody and
transported to the Mesquite Detention Center.
Wanted person: An adult male was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant. The warrant was confirmed, and the subject was transported to Mesquite Detention Center and booked.
March 25:
Person on foot: An Officer saw a juvenile jaywalk across a public street during curfew hours. The juvenile was issued a citation for jaywalking and curfew and released to his father. Nothing further.
Welfare check: Officer conducted welfare check on an elderly male. Male was okay and had plenty of food. Called R/P and advised of welfare.
Lost property: Officer took a report of lost property.
Theft from vehicle: Officer took a report of items taken from a motor vehicle.
TPO/Restraining order: Officers made contact with an adult male who had multiple felony conviction out of another state and was not registered in Mesquite.
Domestic violence: An adult male was arrested for domestic battery and transported to Mesquite
Detention Center and booked.
March 26:
Trespassing: Officers were inside a local casino when security reported a nude male in the business. Security signed a complaint against the male for trespass.
Fraud: Reported fraudulent use of credit card.
Person on foot: Officer observed an adult male sleeping in the landscaping along a public
roadway. Subject was issued a citation for littering.
Controlled substance problem: Officers contacted an adult male who had in his possession a controlled substance.
Theft from vehicle: Officer responded to a Goshawk Xing residence on a theft from a vehicle. After investigation, it was determined nothing was taken. A report was completed.
Traffic accident w/ damage: Officer completed a hit and run report.
Traffic stop: An adult male was arrested for no valid divers license due to the driver having and active warrant. He was transported to the Mesquite Denton Center and booked.
DUI: Officer arrested a male driver for driving under the influence.
March 27:
Wanted person: Officers located a female with a felony warrant out of Mesquite. One adult female was arrested for the warrant.
Theft from vehicle: An officer responded to a residence reference a report of a stolen license
plate.
Stolen property: An officer responded to a pawn shop reference a report of a pawned item which had been reported stolen.
Lost property: Officers took a report of lost property.
Wanted person: An officer made contact with a male who had an active warrant out of the
Mesquite Municipal Court. The male was arrested for the warrant.
Found property: An officer took a report of a found driver’s license. The identification was placed into evidence.
Hit & Run: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to a hit and run in the parking lot. Through further investigation, the driver of the fleeing vehicle was located and cited for failure to report the accident.
March 28:
Domestic violence: Officers responded a residence for a report of possible domestic violence in progress. After investigation one female subject was taken into custody for domestic battery.
Theft: Officers responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. diner reference a theft. The victim did not wish to
pursue charges.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer responded to an intersection for a report of a traffic accident. Officer completed a traffic accident report and the driver at fault was issued a citation.
Found property: Officers responded to the Mesquite Police Department reference a found property.
Intoxicated person: Officers responded to a city park reference an intoxicated male. One adult male was issued a citation for possessing alcohol in a park.
Property damage, non-vandalism: Officers took a report of property damage.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer responded to an intersection for a report of a traffic accident. Officer completed a traffic accident report and the at fault was issued a citation.
Fraud: An officer responded to a residence reference a report of fraud. The investigation in ongoing.
Traffic accident w/o injury: Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident. One female was cited for the accident.
Sex Offense: Officers responded to a business reference a lewdness. The suspect was gone prior to officers arriving.
Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop, which resulted in one female adult being arrested on two local warrants.
Traffic stop: Officers conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation. The male subject was
arrested for DUI-Alcohol (1st offense) and a traffic violation.
March 29:
Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officer responded to a traffic accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was evaluated on scene by paramedics and released to a parent. One adult male driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
Suspicious person: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business reference a report of two suspicious females. Two females were arrested for petit larceny.
Fighting: Information was received of a fight between two students. Video and witness statements are

Traffic accident w/o injury: Officer responded to an intersection for a report of a traffic accident. Officer completed a traffic accident report and the at fault driver was issued a citation.
March 30:
Hit & Run: Officers responded to a hit and run that occurred on the private property of an E. Pioneer Blvd. local casino.
Disorderly conduct: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business reference a disorderly female. One adult female was issued a citation and released for breach of peace.
Juvenile problem: Officers responded to a park reference a fight. Officers are attempting to identify all people involved.
Identification check: Officer’s contacted a juvenile who was cited for minor gambling.
Trespassing: Officers responded to a report of a disorderly patron that security wanted to trespass and was not being cooperative. One male subject was arrested for breach of peace and trespass.
DUI: Officer located a vehicle parked on the grapevine overpass impeding traffic. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence as well as other misdemeanor offenses.
