This is an incomplete weekly report due to system updates that interrupted the reporting.

Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 24 calls this week:

Aug. 12:

Patient transport: Transport request handled by another agency.

Patient transport: Rescue 11 responded for a Critical Care transport request from the local hospital to a facility in the St. George area.

Sick person: Rescue 31 responded to a possible heat exhaustion. Person refused medical assistance and was further assisted by Mesquite Police.

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded for a person with an altered mental status. Rescue 11 transported to a facility in the St. George area.

Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to a sick person on I-15. Patient refused  transport.

Vehicle fire: Rescue 31 and Truck 31 responded to report of a truck and trailer fire on I-15 @ mm 111. Mesquite assisted Bunkerville units with overhaul and making the freeway safe for travel as it was very slick. Trailer was reported to be carrying propane and ammunition and crews were able to keep the fire out of the trailer.

Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to assist Beaver Dam Fire Department on a medical call for an individual with abdominal pain. BDFD transported one patient to a local hospital.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded for a lift assist to a local assisted living facility. Individual did not have any medical complaints or injuries.

Aug. 13:

Patient Transport: Rescue 33 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a BLS transport to Las Vegas Hospital.

Stroke (CVA): Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a person having a stroke. Patient transported to hospital.

Patient Transport: Rescue 31 responded to the local hospital and transported a patient to a facility in the Las Vegas area.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded to a person that fell. Patient transported to hospital.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded for a person that fell. Patient transported to the hospital.

Headache: Rescue 11 responded to a person having a headache. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Aug. 14:

Sick Person: Rescue 11 and rescue 32 were dispatched out for a sick person with altered mental status. Patient was transported to our local hospital.

Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a person that fell. Lift assist only.

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a unconscious person. Patient transported to hospital.

Cardiac arrest:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to an unconscious person. Patient signed out against medical advice.

 

 

Unknown: Rescue 11 responded for a person with an unknown problem. Mesquite PD was called to the seen. Mesquite PD took control of the scene and Rescue 31 was released by Mesquite PD.

Unknown Problem: Rescue 31 responded for a person with an unknown problem. Residence vacant.; no patient.

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a unconscious person. Patient transported to hospital.

Cardiac arrest: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to an unconscious person. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Aug. 15:

Patient transport: Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a CCT transport to St. George.

Abdominal pain: Recue 11 was dispatched out for a preson with testicle pain. Person signed against medical advice form.
