May 14:
Domestic Violence IP: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino for a report of a domestic in progress. One male individual was arrested for domestic battery.
Controlled Substance Problem: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino on a report of Trespass. Officers identified the subject who was then arrested for possession of a controlled cubstance.
Theft: Officer responded to a report of shoplifting at a W. Pioneer Blvd. business. Offender was issued a citation for petit larceny.
Theft: Officer responded to a report of shoplifting at a W. Pioneer Blvd. business. Offender was issued a citation for petit larceny.
Trespassing: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business on a report of trespass. Officer spoke with subject who was issued a citation and released.
Theft: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business on a report of Petit Larceny. Subject was arrested and transported to MDC.
Fraud: Officer returned a phone call from a female in St. George who stated her stolen credit cards were used in Mesquite NV.
DUI: Officers responded to an accident on Mesa Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and was later arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
May 15:
Agency assistance: Mesquite Police Department was requested for assistance by the Hurricane, UT detectives to locate a bat used in a commission of a crime in Hurricane. Through a description given of where it may be located, the bat was recovered and booked into evidence.
Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officers responded to the scene of an accident on Mesa Blvd. involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. The investigation was transferred to Nevada Highway Patrol.
Fraud: Police took a report for fraudulent use of a debit card.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Police took a report for spilt paint in the roadway.Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Officer responded to PDHQ on a report of a Recovered Vehicle. Incident created.
May 16:
Theft: An officer responded to a Mesa Blvd. business in regards to a theft. A report was completed.
Kidnapping in progress: Officers responded to a S.Falcon Ridge Dr. business on a report of a kidnapping. Officers spoke with the victim, witnesses, and obtained video surveillance. An incident was created and the investigation continues.
Welfare Check: An officer responded to a residence reference a welfare check.
Theft: Officer responded to a W. Pioneer Rd. business for a report of a larceny which was occurring at the time of the call. While in contact with Loss prevention, they reported a female was walking out the door with unpaid merchandise. The Officer was in the parking lot and stopped the female. She was cited for petite larceny.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officers responded to a Turtleback Rd. residence for a report of property damage. A report was taken.
May 17:
Lost Property: An officer took a report of lost property.
Domestic Violence: Detectives received information regarding a domestic
Fraud: An officer responded to a Burns Ln. residence to assist a citizen with a suspicious, possible fraudulent delivery of goods.
Fraud: An Officer responded to the police department reference a fraudulent check scam.
Theft: An officer responded to a Second South St. residence for a report of a stolen bicycle. Video footage of the offender was obtained and the investigation is ongoing.
May 18:
Verbal dispute: Officers responded to a W. Hafen Rd. residence, in reference to a verbal dispute.
Theft: Officer responded to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence for a report of a theft from a storage unit. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.
Controlled Substance Problem: Drug Take-Back Program.
Civil Matter: An officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business in reference to a civil matter.
Fraud: An officer responded to the police department reference a fraud report.
Phone harassment: An officer responded to the Mesquite Justice Facility for a report of harassment.
Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to a report of a male yelling racial slurs and throwing objects at vehicles. One adult male was arrested for breach of peace.
Suspicious Person/Circumstance: An officer responded to a residence for a welfare check of children.May 19:Agency Assistance: Elderly male subject was found deceased inside of his residence on Partridge Ln. Based on corners evaluation the death appeared to be from natural causes.
Hit & Run: Officer responded to hit and run property damage on E. Pioneer Blvd. private property. The investigation is ongoing.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for exhibition of speed. The driver was issued a citation.
Wanted person: An officer contacted a male subject in a N. Arrowhead Ln. parking lot. The male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant out of Mesquite Justice Court.
Theft: Officer responded to a report of a theft of money. Suspect was identified, money returned, and victim declined to press charges.
Minor Gambling: An officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino on a report of minor gambling. One male was issued a citation for minor gambling.
May 20:
Domestic Violence: An officer responded to a Riverside Rd. apartment complex for a report of domestic violence. One male adult was arrested for battery domestic violence.
Burglary: Officer responded to a report of a burglary on Gene St. and the investigation is ongoing.
Traffic Accident w/ Damage: Officers responded to a traffic accident involving private property damage on E. Old Mill Rd. One adult female was arrested for DUI and traffic offenses.
Traffic accident W/O injury: An Officer responded to a N. Sandhill Blvd. store reference a private property accident with damage to the storefront.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Officer responded to a report of vandalism at a S. Arrowhead Ln. local business. Officer took the report and investigation is ongoing.DUI: Officer responded to a report of a single vehicle accident on private property. After investigation, driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Minor Possessing/Consuming: An officer responded to a suspicious male at a local business. The male had left, but was located in a Second South St. park. The male was arrested for a city code violation of alcohol in city parks.
Theft: An officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. restaurant for a report of a theft of services. Officers were able to locate both the male and female offender after a short investigation. Both subjects were arrested
