CasaBlanca Resort & Casino will host the official Opening Weekend Celebration of the U.S. 250 Tour in Mesquite, Nev., from Friday, Jan. 9, through Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, inviting the community to take part in a free, family-friendly patriotic festival marking the countdown to America’s 250th birthday. The three-day celebration launches a historic nationwide tour that will travel to all 50 states leading into the United States Semiquincentennial in 2026.
The Opening Weekend, set for Friday, Jan. 9 from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10 from 10 a.m to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 11 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will transform CasaBlanca’s outdoor event grounds into a fully immersive experience. Guests will step into Freedom Village, a vibrant festival environment featuring colonial-era demonstrations, artisan workshops, historical reenactors, Kids America educational activities, classic cars along Main Street U.S.A. and a rare opportunity to view a first-edition written copy of the Declaration of Independence. The weekend will also debut the Hall of Heroes hologram museum, showcasing interactive life-size holograms of influential figures who helped shape the nation’s history.
Country music legends Shenandoah will perform during the Opening Weekend Celebration, bringing timeless hits such as “Church on Cumberland Road,” “Two Dozen Roses,” and “Next to You, Next to Me.” Additional national and regional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Across the three-day festival, guests can expect:
- Live entertainment, including national acts, local performers, patriotic shows, flyovers, veteran tributes and nightly musical programming
- Family-friendly activities, with hands-on crafts, games, bounce houses, historic exhibits and interactive learning stations
- Full festival atmosphere, including food trucks, beer garden, artisan markets, reenactor demonstrations and costumed Founding Father photo opportunities

After its kickoff in Mesquite, the U.S. 250 Tour will continue across the country, presenting 50 large-scale patriotic celebrations, educational initiatives and community events that honor the history, heritage and spirit of America as it reaches its 250-year milestone.
