Pioneer Dutch Oven Fundraiser: 6 p.m., Heritage Park, off Arrowhead behind the LDS Church. Come help raise funds to save Mesquite’s historic buildings. Music performed by the high school jazz band. Ms. Senior Mesquite Pageant: 4 p.m., Mesquite Community Theatre, 150 N Yucca St. The Ms. Senior Mesquite pageant returns as ladies age 55-plus vie for the title. $25 tickets can be purchased at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery or the Community box office an hour before the show.
