Ronald “Ron” Roy Wilm
Mesquite, NV – Ronald “Ron” Roy Wilm 64, died unexpectedly on June 28, 2023, at the St George Regional Hospital, in St George, Utah.
Ron was born in Red Lodge, Montana to Delvin Delbert and Anna May Wilm on March 13th, 1959. He grew up in Bridger, Montana with his siblings Butch, Scott, and his late sister Bev, who preceded him in July 2013.
Ron was a prolific athlete in high school, where he played on the football and basketball teams and ran track.
He moved to Casper, WY in 1978, where he had two sons in a previous marriage. This was where he met his wife and love of his life, Sally Lynn Kerns. He spent most of his young working career traveling for the oil field.
In 1995, Ron, Sally, and their family moved to Mesquite, Nevada, where they cared for Sally’s mother Beulah and her sister Letitia until Beulah’s passing.
Ron had a long-lived passion for the Denver Broncos. He loved to play golf and poker, and you would often find him watching sports. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, and he had a great penchant for avoiding being in photos.
Ron is survived by his wife Sally Lynn Kerns, his mother Ann (Paul), son Tyler (Barbara), son Ryan (Emilee), stepson Lonnie, stepdaughter Carey, grandchildren Anthony, Alexis (Raymond), Jordan, Mason, Skylar, Thad, and great-grandchildren Hudson and Harrison.
