Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 53 calls this week.

Sept. 8:
Falls: rescue 11 was dispatched out for a person that had fallen, needs help getting his spouse up off of the floor.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a fallen victim. Person was assisted back into their wheelchair.
Sept. 9:
Heart Problem: Rescue 12 and Rescue 11 responded to a report of a Heart Problem. Rescue 11 transported one patient to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
Cardiac Arrest: Rescues 31, 32 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of a Cardiac Arrest. Advanced Cardiac Life Support was initiated, and the patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Sept. 10:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a complaint of shortness of breath, one patient was transported to the local hospital.
Convulsions: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of a Convulsion. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Sept. 11:
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded on a person that fell. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded on a person with chest pain. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Sept. 12:
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a fall. One Patient was transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded for a person that fell. Lift assist only.
Sept. 13:
Falls: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded for a reported Cardiac Arrest. Arrived to find
patient suffering from a likely stroke. Patient transported to the airport for transport by Mercy Air to Dixie Regional.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to Shortness of Breath. One patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Sept. 14:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a person in respiratory distress. Rescue 31 transported one person to Mesa View Hospital.
Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a person complaining of abdominal pain. Rescue 11 transported one person to Mesa View Hospital.
