The food drive is a competition as well and they’re looking for someone to beat the Police this year with food donations; they’ve taken that trophy home each year since the parade began.

Last year the Eureka Casino also donated the trophies, which were presented at the Mesquite City Council meeting on Jan. 9. The winners were: Best in Lights, The Lindi Corp; Best Group Participation, Girl Scouts; The Most Food Donations, Mesquite Police Department.
