Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 60 calls this week:

Oct. 28:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to reports of a person having difficulty breathing. One patient was transported to Mesa View.
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a sick person. One patient was transported to Mesa View.
Oct. 29:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person with abdominal pain. The patient requested to be transported to a hospital in Utah.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to reports of a fallen person. The patient was transported to Mesa View.
Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 responded to report of hemorrhage/lacerations. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Oct. 30:
Heart problem: Rescue 11 and rescue 31 responded to a reported person with heart problems. One person transported to Dixie.
Chest pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded for a person with chest pain. Patient transported to a hospital in Mesquite.
Oct. 31:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 responded on a person with abdomen pain. Patient transported to a hospital in St. George.
Nov. 1:
Fire alarm: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to Taco Bell for a fire alarm. No smoke, no fire. After investigation it was a false alarm. Owner contacted and all units clear from scene.
Abdominal pain: Rescue 31 dispatched to the report of abdominal pain. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Animal bites: Rescue 12 responded to the report of an animal bite. Patient signed out against medical advice.
Nov.2:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and 12 responded to a report of a possible stroke. Patient was transported to a local hospital.
Chest pain: Rescue 11 and 12 responded to a report of chest pain with anxiety. One Patient was transported to a local hospital.
Nov.3:
Sick person: Rescue 11 dispatched to the report of a sick person. One person was transported to St. George local hospital.
