Larry and Eva LeMieux and the Party People have done it again. For the second year in a row, their Hangar Party to raise money for the Mesquite Veteran’s Center was a huge hit with the Mesquite residents and successful in its fundraising efforts.

Folks gathered at the Mesquite Airport’s new hangar immediately following the Veteran’s Day Parade which was held on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Those that attended were treated to a day of entertainment provided by a number of Mesquite’s most talented entertainers and the Life Long Dancers, a Mesquite Recreation Center Dance Group.

Festivities were kicked off with the national anthem being played while SkyDive Mesquite team members lowered the American Flag from far above.

The Elks once again provided food and Mesquite Showgirls were there to sell raffle tickets for the many prizes donated by local businesses such as Chicago Greek, Ace Hardware, Danielle’s Chocolates and many others.

When LeMieux and the Party People plan an event, you can be sure it will exceed all expectations for fun and entertainment and it’ll be for a good cause.

If LeMieux and friends have anything to do with it, the Mesquite Veteran’s Center won’t have to wait long for their new addition. This year’s event was bigger and raised more money than the first; with the Party

People at the yoke, the Third Annual Hangar Party is bound to reach some new heights.
