Oct.18,1911: All of the Toblers and Wittwers who are relatives of old Father and Mother Tobler of Santa Clara have gone there to take part  in the celebration of their golden wedding.

Oct. 19, 1910, Bunkerville: Some candidates for Co Offices were in town Sunday night and Monday. Leon French the Republican nominee for assemblyman gave a nice speech in our MIA (Mutual Improvement Association) Sunday evening.

Oct. 19, 1912: Miss Winona Earl, daughter of Bishop J.I.Earl of Bunkerville, is the latest addition to the number of high school in this city (Las Vegas)

Oct. 24, 1911: Santa Clara on October 19th Mr and Mrs Tobler celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.There were about 100 guests present, including relatives from Bunkerville, Mesquite, Washington and Enterprise. The occassion is one long to be remembered by their posterity. who number 18 children, 53 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Oct.24, 1914: Bunkerville: Last week the teachers took the high school boys and went to the mountains to get wood to use for the winter.

Oct. 24, 1920, Littlefield: Six of our bronco busters went to a dance in Mesquite, on their favorite ponies. They were Misses Vonda Ella and Zona Reber, Miss Erma Frehner, Mrs. Dorothy Frehner and Mrs. Minerva Mc Knight. A very enjoyable time was reported.
