Oct. 21:

Lost property: An officer responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino reference a lost property report.

Recovered stolen vehicle: Responded to report of an abandoned vehicle; vehicle was reported stolen from an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino recently.

Oct. 22:

Battery on person: Report of a simple battery at local hotel. The adult female involved did not want to pursue charges.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer completed a private property accident report.

Hit & Run: Officer responded to a casino parking lot on a private party accident. One adult male was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Abnormal behavior/Suicide: Officer responded to a local residence for a welfare check. One juvenile male was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Wanted person: Officer located a male subject with an active warrant. Subject was taken into custody for the warrant.

Oct. 23:

Wanted person: Responded to a complaint of threatening. Upon further investigation it was determined no threatening had occurred and the complainant was taken into custody on an active Bench Warrant out of the Mesquite Municipal Court.

Suspicious person: Responded to local residence on drug paraphernalia. Several items were collected and disposed of.

Burglary: An officer responded to a reported theft.

Traffic accident w/injuries: Responded to a two car collision without injuries.

Civil dispute: Officers responded to a verbal family argument.

Fraud: Officer completed a report of a fraud.Hit & Run: Officer completed a hit and run traffic accident report.

Oct. 24:

Suspicious person: Officer patrolling residential area observed a male subject attempting to enter a vehicle to steal it. Subject was taken into custody.

Theft: Officer responded to the police department lobby for a report of a theft. Officer took a report and investigation is ongoing.

Battery on person: Officers responded to a local casino reference a past battery. A male suspect was identified. Officers located the male and issued him a citation for the offense.

Wanted person: Officers responded to a sports club reference a suspicious person. One adult female was arrested for a warrant out of the Mesquite Municipal Court.

Traffic stop: An Officer conducted a traffic stop for a violation. The driver admitted to drinking earlier in the day and had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. The driver was issued a citation for open container and released.

Oct. 25:

Nuisance or minor disturbance: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. business in reference to a disturbance, one male adult was arrested for DUI.

Impounded vehicle: Officers responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was impounded, due to a parking violation, by a tow company.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Officer responded to a Hillside Dr. commercial building for a report of property damage. Officer took a report and investigation is ongoing.

Citizen assist: Officers responded to the Mesquite Police Department reference a lost property call. A report was completed.

Theft: Mesquite Officer responded to a Valley View Dr. school reference a report of stolen/recovered property.

Fraud: Officers spoke with a person over the phone reference a fraud. The case is currently being investigated.

Domestic violence: Officers responded to a Primrose Ln. residence reference a report of a domestic disturbance.

DUI: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a violation and observed signs of impairment. The male driver was arrested for DUI 1st offense.

Agency assistance: Officers were dispatched to a Pulsipher Ln. residence, in reference to an agency assist. An adult male subject was transported to the hospital.

Oct. 26:

Threatening: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. business reference reports of threats from a customer.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Officers responded to a residence reference a report of property damage. A report was completed.

Traffic stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop and observed signs of impairment. The female driver was issued a citation for smoking marijuana in a moving vehicle.

Oct. 27:

Domestic violence: Officers were dispatched to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino, in reference to a domestic battery. An adult female subject was arrested for domestic battery (1st offense).

Welfare check: Officers completed a welfare check on a male adult.

Phone harassment: An officer responded to a request for a welfare check in reference to text messages.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer completed a traffic accident report.

Traffic stop: Driver observed exceeding the speed limit. Officer conducted a traffic stop and discovered the driver had multiple warrants for traffic violations. The driver was taken into custody for traffic infraction.

Trespassing: Officers responded to a W. Mesquite Blvd. casino for a trespass violator. The male was issued a citation for Trespassing and released with a court date.
