Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 45 calls this week:

Oct. 7:

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 responded for a person with chest pain. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 33 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a CCT transport to Las Vegas.

Back Pain:  Rescue 31 responded for a person with back pain. Patient transported to hospital.

Chest Pain:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 were dipatched out for a person having chest pain. Patient was transported to our local hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 responded for a sick person. Patient transported to hospital.

Oct. 8:

Psychiatric:  Rescue 11 responded for a person with suicidal ideations. Patient transported to hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 called for a patient chief complaint of leg pain and shortness of breath. Rescue 31 transported to Mesa View.

Oct. 10:

Chest Pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an individual with chest pain. Patient signed out against medical advice.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to local hospital for a patient transport to a St George area hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to the local Quick Care for a sick person. One patient transported to the local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to a local hospital for a patient transport to a St George area hospital.

Chest Pain Rescue 11 responded to a local jail for reports of an inmate having chest pain.

Oct. 11:

Convulsions:  Rescue 11 and 31 responded to reports of a person having seizures. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

Oct. 12:

Unconscious:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to the area of 2nd South and Desert Willow for a reported unconscious person. Patient denied transport.

Unconscious:  Rescue 31 responded to a person that had passed out. Patient denied transport to the hospital.

Hemorrhage:  Rescue 31 responded for a person vomiting blood. Patient transported to hospital.

Oct. 13:

Abdominal Pain:  Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded for a person with abdomen pain. Patient signed out against medical advice. All units cleared.

Chest Pain:  Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to the jail for a person having chest pain. One person refused transport to the local hospital.

MVA with Injury:  Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a motor vehicle accident. No vehicle found. No patient contact. Rescue 11 and Engine 31 cleared.

Trauma:  Rescue 11 responded to the Virgin River Casino for a person with a traumatic injury. Rescue 11 transported one person to the local hospital.
