Sept. 16, 1908, Littlefield, AZ:  One of the worst storms visited on us last Sunday, causing floods to run in every direction.

Sept. 16, 1910, Bunkerville, NV:  The farmers were glad to see the rain come Tuesday night, although Wednesday it rained so hard in the hills south east of town that it brought floods down the washes, filling our water ditch in places with mud and gravel. Men and boys have been out today with their teams, scrapers and shovels, cleaning out. Water will soon be in the ditch again.

Sept. 16, 1910: Merlin Hardy who has been gone to California for over three months returned Wednesday, having had a good time and is glad to get home again.
