Once again, Mesquite has proven itself to be the best place to in the world to live.
Beginning with my husband David's first heart attack on Oct. 25 through his death Oct. 26 and his memorial service Nov. 5, friends and acquaintances have been uniformly kind, generous, helpful, and altogether wonderful.
Friends drove me to and from Dixie Regional ICU, visited me there everyday, brought me home after David died, fed me, scheduled the service, cleaned my house, brought me food, etc.
I will be forever grateful for the support of the staff of the Eureka Casino, my synagogue Beit Chaverin in St. George, Weight Watchers, Desert Dames (especially the bridge club), and all my other friends in Mesquite.
Special mention must go to my 50 sisters and one brother on the Mesquite Toes Tap Team.
They are the most special and caring people I have ever known.
I am so grateful to have them as friends and teammates.
I do not know what I would have done without their love and support these past few weeks.
Without wishing to slight anyone, I feel I must give special thanks to those who went above and beyond-Vicki Eckman, Mary Jane Vandeweghe, Fran Armstrong, Jim and Kathie Chatlin, Jean Watkins, Bruce and Sandy Hughes, and Sally Henrie.
Again, to the whole city of Mesquite-thank you so much for your love and support.
