The Rattlers had the first possession of the game but were held to a four downs and out giving the ball over to the Dawgs.
Bulldog running back Stacey Warren went off tackle for 10 yards to begin their possession. Warren took the subsequent handoff and scampered for 43 yards and a Bulldog touchdown. Bulldog quarterback Karson Bryant ran the extra point in to give the Bulldogs a 7-lead after 8 minutes of play.
The Rattlers managed to run for two first downs but the Lady Dawgs shut them down again and took over possession on their own 20 yard line. A Rattler penalty on a Warren carry gave the Dawgs a first down. Bryant hit Alexis Barnum over the middle for a touchdown. The extra point pass was incomplete keeping the score 13-0 in favor of the Bulldogs with 3:35 remaining in the first half of play.
It didn’t take the Bulldogs long to strike again as Warren intercepted a Rattler pass. Bulldog Marlene Quirarte ripped off two first downs before Bryant scored on a Q.B. keeper. The extra point failed giving the Dawgs a 19-0 lead at the half. The second half was about playing time as Bulldog Coach Joey Bowler emptied his bench. Bryant added another touchdown to her resume and the Rattlers did not go home for Christmas empty handed as they added six points of their own.
