Region 8 Championship for the 2012 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship powered by Dick’s Sporting Goods is scheduled Aug. 10-12 at the Mesquite Sports and Event Complex, 1635 Bertha Howe Ave.
The long-drivers take to their tees Friday, Aug. 10, at 7:30 a.m. in the Senior Division (45 and older). Local qualification events are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, registration begins at 6 a.m. with the Open Division competition starting at 7 a.m. The Senior Division competition is to be held Sunday, Aug. 12, with registration at 6 a.m. and the event starting at 7 a.m.
The entry fee is $150 for non-LDA members and $75 for LDA members with the "Go Deep" package.
Winners advance to the World Finals to be held in Mesquite Oct. 16–25.
