THURSDAY: BERNARDONI HAS STOP IN WIN
The mid holiday season brought out only 14 MMGA golfers to play the Canyons golf course after a long frost delay. Jay Bernardoni, stopping in to see friends over the holidays, teed it up after not playing for more than five weeks. He went out and shot 38 on the front and added a 41 on the back to an unexpected low medalist win beating out Andrew Yeh and Dave Jordan who finished tied for second with 83. Tom Greer continues to enjoy his run coming in with the low net honors shooting a 81 and net 69. Five shots back was Jim Chatlin (93) and net 74. The third spot went to Ben Bishop (89) when his birdie on the number one handicap hole, number 6 edged out Yeh’s par four.
HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE IN MESQUITE!
