As in true High School tradition, the Virgin Valley Bulldogs kicked off their Homecoming week with a parade Wednesday, Sept. 26 on Mesquite Boulevard.

According to the official lineup, there were 28 participants in this year's parade, many of them school teams, clubs, and representatives, but also some local businesses joined in to show their support.

The parade began with the Honor Guard carrying the American Flag, followed by Parade Grand Marshall, Kraig Hafen. (Due to technical difficulties, the photos for these two participants are unavailable.)

The Bulldogs will be facing undefeated Boulder City Eagles tomorrow night, hoping to add another win for the season.

With this being one of the most important games of the season, not to mention it being Homecoming, the community is invited to come celebrate with the 'Dawgs at the Tailgate Party, which will include music by 'The Street Team' of HOT 97.5 KVEG out of Las Vegas, food cooked up by the Mesquite City Fire Department, and lots of friends and family. Suggested donation for the delicious eats is $5 per adult and $2 per child. This week's sponsors are the Bryan & Dawn Hafen Family, Mesa View Regional Hospital, and Winder Farms, all of whom will be supplying the food and drinks for the party.

It all begins tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the lower parking lot at 820 Valley View Dr. (off of Hillside). Game kickoff starts at 7:00 p.m.
