There were 46 students who participated in the 2012 Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Summer Reading Program for youth and families. These students were able to complete some challenges and earn prizes.
Some students also were challenged to read during the summer by their teachers. The challenge was to read 30 minutes a day all summer. The students were given a chart to fill out and bring back to earn a prize.
