Beaver Dam Elementary School ended the first quarter of the school year with parent-teacher conferences and report cards.
Alexander Eagle, mascot and protector of the Beaver Dam Eagles, wants to give a full two-feather salute of gratitude to the parents who
attended the conferences. It is always an honor to visit with the fine parents who work with the BDES community to bring the best
education to each precious student.
Some students, who had worked especially hard, earned an ‘A’ in every subject! Being honored for this accomplishment were:
Brooklyn Bulinski, Anya Lindberg, and Fatima Vega (kindergarten), Tanner King and Iliana Rodriguz (first grade), Jacob Dominguez, Jimena Gutierrez, Tegan Harper, Kaylee Shelley, Gianno Warren, Mercedes Jauregui, and Jakobe Bowler (second grade), Joseph Curtis, Lizzie Garlick, and Evelyn Santos (third grade), Angel Martinez, Raul Ornelas, and Kaleiah Hartley (fourth grade), Curtis Garlick (fifth grade), and Jesse Goldtooth, Taylor Reed, Brandon Gonzales, Janson Sherman, Isaac Ojeda, Kynnedie Ellingford, Tanner Reber, Gabriela Buchalter, Haily Goody, Leticia Beltran, Cesar Ruiz, Gi Wooten, and Sarai Ramirez (sixth grade).
The Golden Bucket Award goes to the class with the highest attendance for the month. What fun to receive a bucket full of sweets just for coming to school! The little ones faithfully flock to the nest each day, but one class stood out for the month of September.
Winning the cherished Golden Bucket award was Mrs. Dotson’s fifth grade class. They had nearly 100% attendance for the month!
There are many ways the Eagles of Beaver Dam celebrate the joys of childhood. The school spirit reflects the belief that elementary school is the time to nourish each child’s individual dreams and provide the support and academic instructions which will help all dreams come true.
