Driving under the influence: Feb. 10 -- Officer conducted a traffic stop on West Hafen Lane at 2:23 a.m. on a vehicle and observed the driver to be impaired. The driver was arrested for DUI-drugs and possession of marijuana. A passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Burglary: Feb. 10 -- Police responded at 7:12 a.m. to a burglary at a Pulsipher Lane residence. Detectives processed the scene and are currently attempting to locate the suspect.

Business or license problem: Feb. 10 -- Officers were requested at 11:18 a.m. to investigate a business license problem at a Emmarene Street residence.  The officers contacted the suspect and issued a warning.

Trespassing: Feb. 10 -- Officers responded to a North Sandhill Boulevard location for a complaint of a trespass violator at 4:34 p.m.  The suspect was taken into custody for trespassing.

Citizen assist: Feb. 10 -- A Santa Maria Way resident reported at 4:48 p.m. fraudulent use of a credit card in another state. A report was taken for the crime.

Traffic stop: Feb. 10 -- Officer conducted a traffic stop at West Mesquite Boulevard and Thistle Street on a male adult driver at 8:34 p.m.. The male adult had active traffic warrants out of LVMPD. The male was arrested on local traffic offense charges.

Wanted person: Feb. 11 -- Corrections responded to the City of Las Vegas Detention Center at 12:50 a.m. and took custody of an individual with a Mesquite Municipal Court warrant.

Suspicious person/circumstance: Feb. 11 -- Police responded at 10:12 a.m. to a damaged property report at a West Mesquite Boulevard business. A sliding door window had been shattered. A report was taken for the incident.

Robbery alarm: Feb. 11 -- Officers responded at 2:01 p.m. to a East Mesquite Boulevard government building for a report of a panic alarm. As officers arrived the subject involved was observed running across the street. A citation was issued to the subject.

Fraud: Feb. 11 -- A citizen contacted an officer at 2:59 p.m. at a West Mesquite Boulevard  location regarding credit card fraud. The victim had contacted the credit card company and reported the incident.  An investigation was begun.

Burglary: Feb. 11 -- Police responded at 4:02 p.m. to an attempted burglary at a Pinnacle Court residence. A report was taken for the incident and officers are currently attempting to locate the suspect.

Driving under the influence: Feb. 11 -- Officers responded to a North Sandhill Boulevard gas station at 6:27 p.m. reference a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the driver and arrested him for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Domestic trouble: Feb. 11 -- Police were called to a Royal Flush Court residence at 7:04 p.m. for a fight in progress. Upon arrival it was discovered an intoxicated male adult who was at his ex-wife's house attacked their in common 16-year-old daughter over a disagreement. A physical altercation between the male adult and other members of the house ensued in order to pull him off the daughter. The ex-husband was arrested for domestic battery.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Feb. 11 -- Officers responded to Pioneer Boulevard reference a traffic hazard at 7:34 p.m. Officers observed a traffic sign which was knocked into the roadway. Officers removed the damaged sign and a report was completed.

Phone harassment: Feb. 11 -- Officers responded at 8:04 p.m. to a Cottonwood Drive residence reference harassment. An officer spoke with the complainant, and a report was taken.

Suicidal person: Feb. 11 -- Officers responded to an East First North Street residence reference a possible suicidal juvenile at 10:05 p.m. Officers spoke with the juvenile who stated he was not suicidal. The juvenile was released to the care of his mother.

Theft: Feb. 12 -- Officers responded at 1:10 a.m. to the Eureka Resort Casino reference a theft. Officers located a male subject and determined he had taken tip money from a restaurant. The subject was issued a citation.

Dead body: Feb. 12 -- Officers responded to a suspicious incident call at 9:29 a.m. Upon arrival on East Mesquite Boulevard they identified a subject who was deceased.

Citizen assist: Feb. 12 -- An officer responded to the police department lobby on Mayan Circle at 2:23 p.m. in reference to a report of an unauthorized credit card transaction.

Citizen assist: Feb. 12 -- An officer spoke to a complainant at 2:27 p.m. at the police department about a previous roommate missing some items.

Driving under the influence: Feb. 12 -- Officers responded to the area of Wal-Mart on West Pioneer Boulevard at 5:09 p.m. reference a possible intoxicated driver. An officer located a vehicle matching the description given. The complainant refused to sign a witness statement against the driver and the subject was released.

Suspicious person/circumstance: Feb. 12 -- A female adult Valley View Drive resident called police at 5:27 p.m. with questions, referencing her husband harassing her while they are in the processes of a divorce. Based on the information given to the officer the behavior of the husband did not appear to constitute harassment. The officer offered to speak with the husband reference his behavior, but the request was declined.

Stray animal: Feb. 12 -- Animal control officers responded  at 1:38 p.m.to a Garnet Lane address for a stray canine running at large. Canine's owner was cited for not having proof of rabies and for permitting his canine to run at large.

Civil matter: Feb. 12 -- An officer responded to a North Sandhill Boulevard gas station at 9:59 p.m. to take a report of a civil problem occurring between a woman and her ex-husband.  The officer spoke with both parties involved and completed a written report per the request of both parties.

Controlled substance problem: Feb. 12 -- An officer stopped a northbound vehicle on Interstate 15 for an equipment violation at 11:12 p.m..  The officer observed indications of drug use.  Subsequent to a consensual vehicle search, marijuana was located in the vehicle.  The driver was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

Theft-bicycle: Feb. 13 -- Police were called to a North Sandhill Boulevard grocery store at 12:25 a.m. for a report of a missing bicycle. The bicycle was reported to be left unattended and unlocked for approximately 10 minutes while the owner went into the store. When the owner returned the bicycle was gone. The owner completed a voluntary statement and gave a description of the bicycle. A search of the area was conducted, but the bicycle was not found.

Controlled substance problem: Feb. 13 -- Officer was observing traffic in the school zone on West Mesquite Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop at 8:56 a.m. on a vehicle for speeding in a school zone. During the course of the traffic stop, permission was obtained to search the vehicle and drug paraphernalia was located and recovered inside the vehicle. The driver was issued a citation and released with a court date.

Traffic accident without injury: Feb. 13 -- Officer responded at 3:22 p.m. to a Riverside Road commercial center's parking lot, reference a non-injury private property accident. A drivers exchanged was completed and handed to both drivers for insurance purpose(s).

Trespassing: Feb. 13 -- Officers responded at 5:24 p.m. to a North Sandhill Boulevard grocery store reference a trespass violator. Officers identified and arrested the male for trespassing.

Litter/pollution/public health: Feb. 14 -- Officer took a report at 8:42 a.m. of illegal dumping in the parking lot of a local Homeowners Association on West Pioneer Boulevard. Investigation is ongoing.

Disorderly conduct: Feb. 14 -- Officers responded to the Eureka Resort Casino at 10:08 p.m. reference a male who had been read the trespass warning and refused to leave casino property. Upon Officers arrival casino security requested to sign a citation against the male for trespassing. Officers arrested the male and he was transported to Mesquite Detention Center.

Domestic trouble: Feb. 14 -- Officers responded to the Virgin River Casino at 11:01 p.m. referencing a domestic disturbance call. After speaking with those involved a male and female were arrested on domestic battery charges.

Theft from a person: Feb. 15 -- Officer took a report at 6:58 a.m. of a stolen purse, which occurred in a West Mesquite Boulevard casino's parking lot. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspicious vehicle: Feb. 15 -- An officer was informed at 8:26 a.m. of a parking violation of more than 24 hours. The vehicle was located at West Pioneer and Oasis boulevards which violated city ordnance 6-3-2-E. The vehicle was tagged with the violation, informing the owner the vehicle is to be moved within 24 hours, after the notification.

Theft: Feb. 15 -- The School Resource Officer (SRO) at Virgin Valley High School responded to the Dean of Students Office in reference to a West First South Street resident who wanted to report a theft of property.  SRO obtained statement and gave resident a case number.

Wanted person: Feb. 15 -- Officers visually observed and identified an adult male seated on the front passenger seat of a vehicle driving on East Old Mill Road at 3:04 p.m. Officers recognized the male to have an active warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and confirmed the male had an active warrant. The male was arrested and transported to the Mesquite Detention Center.

Trespassing: Feb. 15 --
An officer was dispatched to a West Pioneer Boulevard department store at 3:15 p.m., reference a trespass violator. The officer located the suspect violator and confirmed the trespass warning. The suspect was arrested for trespassing and transported to the jail.

Welfare check: Feb. 15 -- Officers responded to welfare check at a Mesa Boulevard residence at 6:53 p.m.. The subject was transported voluntarily to Mesa View Hospital for a medical evaluation.

Trespassing: Feb. 15 -- Officers responded at 8:30 p.m. to a West Mesquite Boulevard casino reference a trespass violator. Security advised Officers they located a male who had recently been trespassed and returned back on property. Officers arrested the male for trespassing. Officers were later informed he also had a warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court.

Minor possessing/consuming alcohol: Feb. 16 -- Officers conducted a traffic stop at East First North Street and North Sandhill Boulevard on a vehicle for a traffic violation at 1:09 a.m.. The driver was cited/released for no driver's license. The passenger was cited/released for having an open container of alcohol.

Fraud: Feb. 16 -- An officer was dispatched at 5:42 a.m. to the Eureka Resort Casino for a report of fraud. The officer arrived and took custody of a counterfeit bill.

Trespassing: Feb. 16 -- Officer responded to the Virgin River Casino at 10:20 a.m., reference a trespass violator. The adult male who was previously trespassed and back on the property was issued a citation and released with a court date.

Property damage, non-vandalism: Feb. 16 -- Officers were dispatched to a North Yucca Street location at 12:03 p.m. reference damaged property. The investigation resulted in an accidental broken window, which was caused by a soccer ball.

Trespassing: Feb. 16 -- Officer responded to a Mesquite business at 3:13 p.m., reference an adult male on the North Sandhill Boulevard property who had been previously trespassed. The business requested and signed a citation on the male. The trespass violator was then transported to the Mesquite Detention Facility.

Found property: Feb. 16 -- Citizen located a wallet on Hillside Drive leading to Scenic, Ariz.  Wallet was turned into police department at 7:27 p.m. and booked into the evidence vault as found property.

Trespassing Feb. 16 -- Officers responded to a North Sandhill Boulevard grocery store at 9:12 p.m. reference a trespass violator.  Upon arrival Officers identified and arrested a male subject for trespassing.
