The Mesquite Police Officers and Fire Fighters are inviting the residence and neighbors of Mesquite to come and join them for “Mesquite Night Out” which is being held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Mesquite Recreation Center.
Mesquite Night Out is an event that brings the community and public safety personnel together in a social environment in an effort to increase relationships of trust between both groups.
The event will begin at 5:30 pm with a parade consisting of several emergency vehicles which will begin at the Oasis Hotel parking lot, proceed down Mesquite Boulevard to Sandhill Boulevard then left on Old Mill Road and end at the recreation center.
Mesquite Police, Mesquite Fire, Bunkerville Fire Department, Las Vegas Metro, Las Vegas Metro SWAT, Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Mercy Air, are just some of the agencies that will be on hand to display, explain, and demonstrate some of the equipment they use in your community.
