

The Mesquite Library, a branch of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, will be closing at the end of the business day on Saturday, June 9, at 6 p.m.
for remodeling and the construction of a 2,664-square-foot modular building addition.
During the closure, limited library services will be available at the Mesquite Fine Arts Center & Gallery,15 W. Mesquite Blvd., telephone number 346-5224. The library hours will be Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Patrons will be able to pick up hold requests and a limited number of adult and children’s books, DVDs and music CDs. Audio books will be available for browsing. Daily newspapers also will be available. However, public computers and WiFi will not be available.
Young children and teens still will be able to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading Program that starts Friday, June 1, and continues through Tuesday, July 31. The book drop will be open for book returns during the closure located on the east side of the parking lot of the Mesquite Library, as well as the Mesquite Fine Arts Center & Gallery.
Full library services are available at the Bunkerville Library,150 W. Virgin St., in Bunkerville, telephone number 346-5238. Bunkerville Library hours are Mondays, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and closed Sundays.
The Mesquite Library, located at 121 W. FirstNorth St., will re-open in mid-July.
