The Nevada Health Center’s "Mammovan" is due to arrive at the Mesquite Cancer HELP Society (MCHS), 150 N. Yucca St., on Sept. 20, according to Yoli Bell, MCHS Director.
Mammogram screenings are to be offered 9:30 a,m,-2 p.m.
This the opportunity for many low- and middle-income women to obtain a mammogram. Regular mammograms are recommended for women over 40, Bell reminded.
Although walk-ins are accepted, it takes less time if women check their eligibility and make an appointment in advance by calling 1-877-581-6266.
Bell said if anyone needs more information or has questions, they should call the MCHS office at (702) 346-0622.
