Clark County is looking for interested residents of Bunkerville to serve on the Bunkerville Town Advisory Board for the next two years.
The County is currently accepting applications for the Bunkerville TAB.
Applicants must be eligible to vote, live within the area encompassed by the and attend annual training. Applications are due by Dec. 7, and are available through the County website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov and at the Administrative Services Department on the 6th floor of the Clark County Government Center at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas. The Bunkerville TAB secretary will also have applications available.
The County Commission appoints the members of the TAB to two-year terms. The next terms will begin Jan. 7, 2013. All appointees must be available for training on Jan. 12, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The TAB serves an important advisory and liaison function relaying concerns and other important information between unincorporated Bunkerville and the county government. The board holds public meetings at least once a month to discuss and make recommendations on long-term planning, zoning changes, public works projects, county programs and ordinances that may affect Bunkerville.
