For the ‘just over 21’ crowds in Mesquite, finding something to do at night can be challenging at times.
But two local businesses have created a solution to that boredom and have been offering fun for quite some time.
Stateline Casino, located at 490 W. Mesquite Blvd., offers more than just slots. On Tuesdays and Fridays patrons can enjoy karaoke with their friends starting at 8:30 p.m.
Fridays and Sundays also offer some more activities with pool tournaments. On Friday nights there’s a 9-ball competition, with an entry fee of $10, starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday players can enjoy an 8-ball tournament starting at 4 p.m., also with a $10 fee.
However, if singing, slots and pool doesn’t quite sound like a fun time, there’s also dart boards and shuffleboard. For more information, call (702) 346-5752.
One of the newer businesses to Mesquite offers patrons a chance to socialize and dance the night away.
Envy Nightclub owners Rob Seidz and Toby Burnside wanted to bring some of Las Vegas to Mesquite, but with less hassle. Shorter lines, lower cover charges, and themed-music nights are just a few perks. Located at 792 W. Pioneer Blvd., next to the Redd Hills Cinema, it’s Mesquite newest place for after-dinner drinks, music, and local access.
The lineup at Envy changes often, so be sure to check out their website at www.envynevada.com or call (702) 346-9000.
