The Mesquite Elks Lodge has donated $1,000 to the Virgin Valley Little League (VVLL) through its Community Investment Program. The ‘Beacon of Hope” Grant was created by the BPOE to offer Lodges the opportunity to develop an ongoing, charitable, Elks-driven community project.

The VVLL Board of Directors has scheduled a fund-raising golf tournament. The tournament, which will benefit the effort to establish the Little League in the Virgin Valley, is to be held at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course on Sept. 8.

The entry fee is $50, which includes a lunch immediately after the tournament. Individual-hole sponsorships are available at a cost of $35.
