BLM Updates Hobble Complex & Plateau Fires' Status

As of Friday evening, July 13, 2012 the weather system that traveled through the region Thursday evening and Friday delivered precipitation that has resulted in diminished fire activity today on all fires on the Arizona Strip.

Today’s updated estimated acreage for the Hobble Complex is approximately 35,000 acres and the estimate for the Plateau Fire is 3,200 acres (reduction due to more accurate mapping).
