Thought: “Some people (and animals) come into our lives quickly and go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints (paw prints) on our heart. And we are never, ever the same.” Author Unknown
FEATURED CAT:
Star Wars has come to the Animal Shelter with the arrival of Yoda and Ewok. These large 3 yr olds came to us when they lost their owner. Yoda is a large, sweet and mellow cat. He loves his belly rubbed – make a wish and take him home. Ewok has an endearing quality about him. Mellow fellow with a quiet dignity. If you let him know you like him & give a little petting, he’ll never want you to stop. They would love forever homes where they would feel safe and loved once again!
OTHER CATS:
Domino – Male 4-5 mo black and white
Socks – Male 4-5 mo black and white
Toby – Male 5 mo gray tabby
FEATURED DOG:
Super friendly, lots of energy and really bright – that’s Misty! Very thin when she came to the shelter as a stray; now eating and gaining weight. She plays with toys, knows how to sit and walk on leash. Her exact breed isn’t fully known, there is Terrier and lots of love in the mix. She loves meeting new people and she hopes one of them will take her to a forever home. This is her dream.
OTHER DOGS:
Topper – Male 3 yr Chi/Pug blend
Diva – Female 5-6 mo Border Collie
Lilly – Female 1-2 yr Yorkie/Silky
Duke – Male 3 yr German Shepherd (father of Katy)
Katy – Female 1-2 yr German Shepherd (daughter of Duke)
All animals will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving shelter and receive 1 year rabies vaccination and city license. Ages are approximated.
