Desert Dames to meet Feb. 27

The Desert Dames is to meet at noon, Feb. 27, in the CasaBlanca banquet room, 950 W. Mesquite Blvd.

Jim Brown of the Mesquite Veteran’s Center is to explain government benefits for veterans, surviving spouses and family members.

Lunch will be a small green salad, penne pasta with Italian sausage and tomato sauce. A desert and coffee or tea will be included

Checks need to be made out to Desert Dames for $16 and mailed by Friday, Feb. 22, to Caren Newbury, 1069 Moonlight Terrace Mesquite, NV 89034.
