Glenniz Jones is scheduled to perform at another Mus-Art session at the Mesquite Fine Arts Plaza Amphitheatre, 10 W. Mesquite Blvd., Friday, Dec. 28, 4- 6 p.m.
Glenniz, a Mesquite local, is a lifelong musician. Something of a child prodigy, he studied music in California and honed his talents of playing a number of musical instruments and composing original songs. He began performing professionally as a young man, and developed an impressive career in the rock and jazz world. He has done world tours with top name entertainers, and played guitar in a number of bands in Las Vegas and elsewhere. In recent years he moved to Mesquite, and has become a fixture of the local music scene.
A $5 donation secures a front-row seat, lots of great listening and a chance to “chill out” from the holiday rush. It's suggested members of the audience dress warmly, bring a cushion and blanket and hot drinks.
