With the internet being so fast nowadays, it is often an inconvenience when emails are not received in such a quick time.
Such has been the case with customers throughout the Reliance Connects servers. Many emails have reportedly not been delivered, or are taking their sweet time getting to their destination, often being labeled as spam.
According to a press release sent out by Michele Conditt, Reliance Connects’ Customer Service Supervisor, Reliance Connects has heard the complaints and are upgrading their servers to accommodate the amount of emails they process on a daily basis.
“When we started as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) 10 years ago, we were just starting and didn’t have many customers on our network. As we have grown over the last decade, we have strived to provide the services our customers desire. This upgrade ensures that we have a reliable network for mail and storage,” says Conditt.
Since the reports started coming in on Thursday, August 9, Reliance Connects has been working on the upgrade and emails are slowly being delivered. Also, while Conditt says that Reliance Connects is confident no emails have been lost, it could take up to 36 hours for all mail to be delivered and for server processing to resume to its full capacity.
“We understand the importance of email in today’s technology dependent world. If you have questions or need additional information please contact the customer service office at 503-630-4213 or technical support at 503-630-8909 anytime between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mon-Sat and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
Conditt also advises in the release that emails that you may have already seen or read may reappear in your inbox, as the system irons itself out.
